Crossroads Life Coaching
A life coach is not a therapist, psychologist, or counselor. A life coach is a lighthouse in the dark. You are in charge of steering your boat, while the light helps to navigate which way YOU want to go. Life coaches create a safe space for our clients to freely explore and expand their thoughts, ideas, obstacles, and struggles.
Quotes of Encouragement
Robert Frost
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear
"A Soft Place to Land"
-Waitress the Musical
Dreams come and they go
But hold them and keep them
And know that you need them
When your breaking point's all that you have
A dream is a soft place to land
May we all be so lucky
John Newton
Everything is necessary which God sends our way.
Nothing can be necessary which He withholds.
Meet Me At The Crossroads
The Road to Acceptance
Like the saying goes "accept the things you can't change, change the things you can't accept." This is the first step to finding the answer within you and learning to trust your inner voice.
The Road to Achievement
Life Coaching is to bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. Welcoming your ambitions and dreams while working together to figure out the best approach to accomplish them.
The Road to Abiding
Establish goals, overcome obstacles, do the work and show up for yourself to create a long lasting way of thinking to approach everyday a little better than the one before.

Why I Chose Life Coaching
While taking the life coaching classes, one of the exercises we were asked to do by our coaching instructor was to envision what our client would look like and what the sessions would look like. When I envisioned my client I saw the person I've been within my twenties.
Realizing there was,
-
a need for perfection and longing to have it all together
-
a young woman from a small town who was ambitious and filled with aspiration but no one to talk to that would understand or be trustworthy enough to share with
-
myself re-evaluating what to do with my degree now that the career I chose wasn't what I wanted anymore.
-
lack of trust and confidence in myself because life wasn't going according to my plan
-
trying to live up to the expectations of my family but contemplating how that aligns with what I want out of life
I then realized that the kind of coach I want to be will exemplify the person and environment I needed when I was at the different crossroads of my life. My niche is specifically mindset coaching. I want to be guiding light for people who are at two roads diverged in their own yellow wood, and struggling with choosing which way to take. We all have the answers inside of us but occasionally our inner voices and current mindsets can create obstacles that make choosing a path difficult. And that is where we will meet.
